Job Description

Tutoring students in the subjects of electronics, computer repair and networking.  Assist staff in assisting students in the use of computers, networking equipment and electronics test equipment, electronics prototyping equipment and consumable supplies; demonstrate safe practices and monitor the use of equipment and supplies to make sure they are being used properly.   Report and unsafe conditions or practices immediately.
Job Requirements
  • Evenings will be required
  • Familiarity with PC assembly and component identification
  • Having completed Math 105 Algebra and Math 104 Trigonometry or equivalents preferred
  • Content competency evidenced by a grade of "A" or "B" in subject(s) you with to tutor
  • Successful completion of TUTR 30 course (may be concurrently enrolled), tutor orientation, and continuous training TBD
  • Participate in ongoing Tutor Obsevations
  • Assist during special events such as the Job Fair
